As would be expected from a company the caliber of US Optics the glass is amazing in this scope. I find it hard to compare glass once you get into the really premier scope makers, but this is right up there with Shmidt & Bender, Nightforce and Leupold Mark 4's.This scope has great clarity and resolution and no problem picking out the tiniest detail in targets. However for the price I would expect a bit better out of the glass but it was still very nice.

This particular model has the US#1 turrets in .65 moa. I took this scope on trade and would not have chosen the .65 moa turrets but they still functioned flawlessly. Very positive clicks and always returned to zero. This scope had 115 moa worth of elevation which was plenty to zero a 308 to 1000 yards without a canted base. The turrets were able to run all the way to 1000 and back
to 100 while always returning to zero.

US Optics scopes are built to last a lifetime, the physical size and weight of this scope was proof of that. It is bigger and weighs more than my 8-25x Mark 4 and it is only a fixed 10x. You can look up videos on youtube of US Optics scopes being used as hammers and being thrown down hillsides and still operating perfectly.

The only problem with this scope is that it is a fixed 10x which great effects its usability. This is the only reason it lost a point in my grading scale. I would want something with more magnification for competition or varmint shooting but many shooters swear by these scopes for match shooting. It is a great scope and reticle for snipers or sharpshooters. The reticle is a standard mil dot with incorporated brackets at the bottom to range a 6 foot person out to 1000 yards.

As stated earlier these scopes are built to take a beating and keep on going. I have seen more videos and tests done on US Optics scopes than any others. They have hammered in nails with them and beaten them against other scopes and the the USO is always the last one standing. Match that with the bulletproof warranty that USO offers I wouldn't even question the durability of one of these scopes.

The ST-10 is a pricey scope as far as fixed 10's go sitting right up there with Schmidt & Bender, but you get what you pay for. If you were looking for one scope to last the rest of your life I would put my money on a USO. This scope had every option you could ever want and performed flawlessly in every area. If you want something with more power USO offers the SN-3 line which go up to 25x.

I have to admit that out of every scope I have owned and shot, the USO is right there at the top of my favorites. I would love to get my hands on an SN-3 for a review because of the higher magnification. If your punching paper or little critters you just need more magnification than 10x. USO has had military and law enforcement contracts wish is proof of their great design and functionality. Glass clarity and function rate right up there with Nightforce and Schmidt & Bender. When it comes to a truly custom scope USO is the way to go, you can set up the scope exactly how you want it from the turrets, reticle, tube and objective size and even the color. USO is a great company to deal with and if you have the money to spend and are considering a high end tactical scope, USO should be high up on your list if not at the top.
